Biography
Ian E. Robinson joined Adams | Coogler in 2010 and became a shareholder in 2017. Whether he is at trial, motion practice, or oral arguments at the appellate level, Ian is a skilled and experienced litigator known for producing great results for his clients in the face of catastrophic fact patterns. Ian’s practice is focused on helping clients navigate the challenges and risks their businesses face from construction through everyday operational hazards. As a fifth-generation Floridian, he takes pride in helping companies and individuals through difficult and often complex litigation regardless of whether the trial will be held in a major metropolitan area or Florida’s heartland.
Outside of the office, Ian enjoys spending time with his family, being in the woods or on the water, as well as watching his Gators play.

- Achieved defense verdict in automobile accident case where defendant-employee had taken drugs prior to collision with the plaintiff (Marion County)
- Won Motion for Summary Judgment on premises liability claim involving serious lacerations and claims of RSD, then successfully defended appeal by co-defendant through oral arguments at Second District Court of Appeal (Hillsborough County)
- Petition for Writ of Certiorari Granted for non-party expert neurosurgeon regarding trade secret claims and financial income information – Grabel v. Sterrett, 163 So. 3d 704 (Fla 4th DCA)
- Achieved defense verdict representing driver for Fortune 500 Company who hit pedestrian resulting in catastrophic injury (Pinellas County)
